“A Divorce or Separation is more than a decision to end a relationship—it is a decision that will affect your children, your property, your finances and the rest of your life.
I offer a realistic assessment of my clients’ situation and I advocate for solutions that make sense and that firmly protect their interests.”
As a family lawyer, I help my clients navigate one of the most challenging transitions of their lives. Every family has its own history and dynamics, so I work closely with my clients to understand their unique circumstances and priorities before developing a strategy tailored to their needs.
My practice is focused exclusively on family law. I began my career in 2017 at a large full-service law firm in my hometown of London, Ontario, where I received my training as a family lawyer and gained experience representing clients both in and outside the courtroom. In 2020, I went on to open my own family law firm as a sole practitioner and taught family law theory to future legal professionals as a professor at Fanshawe College before co-founding Family Lawyers Collective LLP.
I assist clients with a broad range of family law matters including divorce, parenting arrangements, child and spousal support, straightforward or complex property division and adoptions. I guide my clients through out-of-court processes such as negotiation or mediation where appropriate. For matters requiring litigation, I provide effective advocacy and steady guidance throughout the process.
My approach is practical and client-focused. I offer a resolution-oriented approach to problem-solving and believe clients deserve frequent lawyer-client communication, thoughtful advice and a clear understanding of their options.
Outside of my law practice, I keep myself busy as a mom to my son and two dogs. I enjoy spending time outdoors and working on the occasional DIY home improvement project whenever I can.
