Jelena Buac

“I prioritize open and straightforward communication so that my clients have the information, guidance, and confidence that they need to make the best decisions for them.

I graduated from the Faculty of Law at Western University in 2014 and have called London home since then. I received my legal training and exclusively practiced family law at a large full-service firm before making the decision to start a boutique family law practice.

I often represent clients using an amicable and resolution-oriented approach to reach an agreement, such as in private negotiations between lawyers or with the help of a mediator in a mediation setting. For cases that are already in court or require a court case to be started, I advocate for clients throughout all stages of the court process. I have experience representing clients at trials and at private arbitrations.

I also provide legal advice to clients who are looking for assistance in the negotiation and preparation of a Cohabitation Agreement or Marriage Contract.

In my experience, I have found that every client that I work with brings with them a unique set of life circumstances, concerns, and goals. I take the time to really understand what these are so that I can create practical solutions that focus on what is truly important to each client.

Outside of my law practice, I enjoy exploring the outdoors, reading fiction, and spending time with my family.
